The Combo Keyboard is used primarily in the cath lab. It consists of 12 yellow keys for comment ART, AO, LV, LA, PV, PA, RV, PCW, RA, VC, VEN and SP. The keyboard has 102 keys and PS/2 cable type keyboard. The cable should not be removed in a PS/2 type. The key F12 is highlighted in a red color for emergency save. Keys caps can be removable as a two-piece, key stem and key cap. The key switches are buckling spring type. The keyboard is easily cleaned by removing the upper part of keyboard case and individual keys. The barcode scanner cable must not be connected to the keyboard PS/2 connector when system power is on. This causes the system to lock up after the first scan. If this happens, the barcode scanner cable must be replaced. The keyboard LEDs will turn on at Power On and turn off just prior to the floppy disk drive’s LED turning on. These LEDs indicate that the PC/AT system (EPC-9) is functioning properly. The keyboard connector is hot-pluggable. Any standard keyboard can be plugged in without powering down the system or causing keyboard errors.
