Product Overview
The 5.25" Multi Drive is a Digital Versatile Disc (DVD) player that is a device that plays DVD discs that are DVD-Video and DVD-Audio. It is capable of storing large amounts of data on one disc the size of a standard compact disc. The data on a DVD is encoded in the form of small pits and bumps in the track of the disc. It is compatible with CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL (Double Layer) and DVD-RW read/write capability and double layer light scribe optical drives for micro tower by workstations. The DVD-R media has an amazing 16x data read speed and 2MB buffer size and an Integrated Drive Electronics (IDE)/AT Attachment Packet Interface (ATAPI). An IDE interface is an interface used as a mass storage device, which the controller has integrated into the disk or CD-ROM drive. ATAPI is an interface between a computer and an attached CD-ROM drive and tape backup drives. The multi drive allows users to easily store, edit and share up to 8.5GB of video, photos, multimedia and more with a double-layer and quickly back up and transport files on DVDs and CDs.
