The Access Point ApexPro FH Single Radio Frequency Plenum is an access point transceiver, which acts as a ethernet gateway used in the ApexPro CARESCAPE™ Telemetry System. This system collects the data from ApexPro FH telemetry system transceivers, transmit data to the telemetry tower on the open network, and sends or receives control data to/from the transceivers. The access point is mounted above the drop ceiling, whereas cosmetic antennas are mounted below the ceiling. It is similar in concept to wireless LAN access points, such as 802.11 compliant wireless LANs. This is compliant with the wireless medical telemetry service rules for 608 to 614 MHz band. The telemetry system provides real time patient data/alarms to one or more central stations.
